Purpose
To recognize a volunteer Military Community Ambassador who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and measurable impact in advancing military-connected employment and workforce inclusion through the SHRM Foundation’s Military Community At Work initiative. This award honors volunteer ambassadors who not only champion military-connected talent in the workforce, but also actively build relationships with SHRM chapters, state councils, and employer networks—creating sustainable, local pathways for impact.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an active 2025 SHRM Foundation Military Community Ambassador.
- Must have reached the 250 minimum reporting requirement within 2025.
- Demonstrated mentorship, education, or strategic impact in workforce initiatives.
- Use of SHRM Foundation’s Military Community Ambassador presentation materials.
- Completion of Qualtrics reporting form.
- Completion of Ambassador Training Modules and signed Ambassador pledge.
Award Recognition
- All-expenses-paid trip to attend the Regional Council Business Meeting (RCBM) in Portland, OR – February 5–7, 2026.
- Monetary gift: $2,500
- On-stage recognition during the award presentation.
- Dedicated opportunities to share best practices and success stories with state councils.
- Feature in SHRM/SHRM Foundation media
